Ada Afoluwake Ogunkeye is the Actor, Voice-over artist, Producer, radio & TV host and explorer also known as Folu Storms.
Folu grew up in a house filled with books, which is where her love for stories began. The daughter of a Lawyer, she studied Law with the aim of affecting change in her society. She attained Graduate (LLB) and Postgraduate degree (LLM) studies and a Barristers qualification (Bachelor at Law), from The University of Wales, Aberystwyth; Bristol University and The Nigerian Law School respectively. After a brief stint practicing, Folu went on to become a broadcaster on a local radio station (92.3 Inspiration) in 2012. She heard of the MTV Base Africa Vj search and competed to become a top 3 finalist. At the end of the competition, Ndani TV hired her as a content producer and presenter and she has gone on to create and present a number of Ndani TV Shows including: The Juice Season 1, The New Africa, Style Guide & Young C.E.O.
The wealth of experience Folu has gained in her numerous projects led to the successful completion of Ndani Tv’s “The New Africa” which she wrote, produced and hosted and has received a nomination for Best Documentary at the Africa Magic Viewer Choice Awards 2016.
Today you can find Folu giving you the global pop-culture scoop on MTV Base Africa, writing reviews about her weekend shenanigans bi-monthly for The Guardian Newspaper.
