Obi Asika is what the business world calls a ‘connector’. A veteran of Nigeria’s music industry as CEO of Storm360, Obi’s expertise and reach don’t stop there. From banking, oil and gas, to investment and finance he has spreadheaded multiple projects aimed at driving investment into Nigeria since the mid 1980’s .
Obi Asika sits on the board of several companies across diverse areas of business from event services, marketing and media communications, ICT, and real estate. He has served as executive producer of several TV programs including Big Brother Nigeria, Doctor’s Quarters, Dragons Den Nigeria, Calabar Rocks, Etisalat One Million Dollar Show, 100% Naija, Naija Sings and The Apprentice Africa.
Obi has worked along side some of the nations foremost companies including Mnet, MTV, Channel O, and Soundcity. An experienced event producer, he has lent his skill to the production of the Nigerian World Cup Village for FiFA 99, Big Brother and Channel O Eviction Party series, Calabar Music Festival and more.
Ever civil-minded, Obi Asika has been an adviser to Cross River State Government and Lagos State Government -among others -on multiple development projects. A staunch advocate for investment and growth for Nigeria, Obi is driven by the belief that there are few places in the world where the spirit of entrepreneurship is as alive as it is in Nigeria.
