READY, SET, DESIGN!
Nigeria is ripe with creative and digital design talent. That’s why we’re calling on our community to help us design and pick the Official Social Media Week Lagos 2014 T-Shirt! In true social media fashion the top 5 designs will be selected via an online voting poll (voting begins 1 minute after submissions close on Nov 22). After the voting ends (Dec 6) a final winner will be selected by our panel of judges.
THE CHALLENGE
Showcase your creativity & imagination by creating a design inspired by our 2014 theme: A Connected Africa is the Future. We’re looking for exciting, imaginative, wearable design that showcases innovation, the spirit of social media and our future as an always on, always connected continent.
THE PRIZE
One talented designer will have their creative work printed and debuted as the Official T-shirt of Social Media Week Lagos 2014.
In addition the winner will receive:
+ a ₦20k cash prize
+ a profile on the SMW Lagos blog
+ (2) VIP passes for SMW Lagos 2014!
THE RULES
+ Submit up to 2 original designs per person.These designs must not contain copyrighted material.
+ Submit front t-shirt designs only. There should be no text or visuals on the back of the shirt
+ Be prepared to submit the original raw file in the case your artwork is chosen as a finalist
+ Lastly, while we want you to get creative, the design should still incorporate our logo color pallet.
