Following each full day of informative events, attendees will be able to unwind and let loose thanks to the entertaining nightlife programming provided at the #smwAFTERHOURS Hub. Held at the popular Club Pravada in Victoria Island, these events will showcase some of the biggest artists that Nigeria has to offer.
Kicking off the week’s nightlife events on Monday will be the first in a series of must-see #smwLagosLive concerts. Come celebrate with new friends at the opening party Now Muzik, powered by TRACE Urban. Between the two-hour open bar and the live performances by Pucado, Now Muzik is guaranteed to set the mood for a week of good times and great people.
On Tuesday night, Pryse, Nosa, Victoria Kimani, MI and Ice Prince will all take the stage at the Chocolate City All-Stars concert. The star-studded event will be hosted by the premium African music label Chocolate City, so make sure to come through and help show everyone exactly how Naija gets down. Beat 99.9 FM, the “heartbeat” of Lagos, plans to bring some soul to #smwAFTERHOURS, thanks to Alternative Soul Night. Held on Wednesday evening, the event will feature some of Nigeria’s best and brightest songbirds, including Bez, Temi Dollface, Black Magic and Ms. Jaie.
We also have a treat for the sports fans this Social Media Week. Gbamm!, a social network for football fans, will be revealed at an interactive launch party on Thursday. Sports writer and talker Colin Udoh of ESPN and Telegraph will also be in the building, helping to spotlight the beta version of the highly-anticipated mobile product. After you have gotten your football fix, get ready for a night with Banky W, Wiz Kid and more at the Party With EME All Stars. Hosted by Empire Mates Entertainment, this edition of #smwLAGOSLIVE will also feature the musical talents of Skales, Shaydee, Niyola, DJ Xclusive, Vector, Big Mo, Blink, Nedu Charass and more!
Capping off the week will be #SMWLagosLive: Friday Night, where attendees can join together one final time to relive the week highlight’s and connect with their fellow international social media mavens and tastemakers one last time.
