The colorful worlds of food and photography collided at Eat. Shoot. Repeat, a Social Media Week Lagos event held by global headline sponsor Nokia to showcase its showcase brands, Nokia Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1320. Photography masters Kelechi Amadi Obi, Bayo Omoboriowo and Chiekezi Dozie were on hand to demonstrate the many benefits of the phones, including the Storyteller photography application that lets users share stories of their travels using pictures.
While learning about the innovative features of the devices, attendees were treated to a special night at Terra Kulture filled with customized cocktails and special intercontinental dishes created in partnership with seasoning brand Maggi.
“Maggi, Nigeria’s leading cooking brand is synonymous with good food, good food means great memories, and of course great stories which is why we are creating and capturing good food-moments is the essence of the Maggi Brand,” said Culinary Nestle Nigeria’s Guy Kellaway.
“It was for this reason that Maggi was able to associate strongly with Nokia for this event.”
Loud music reverberated throughout the room, echoed by hearty laughter as the room filled with savory smells and attendees networked with one another. To test the attendees’ listening skills, the event hosts also quizzed a select group of individuals on the Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1320. The last woman standing, having correctly answered her questions, left happy after winning a brand new Lumia.
